š° Press Coverage
Kansas City Chiefs
Missouri governor Mike Kehoe signed a deal over the weekend which approves hundreds of millions of dollars of financial aid designed to keep the Chiefs, and MLBās Royals, in the state as their leases for Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium respectively are up at the start of 2031.
The Chiefs, in a statement to The Associated Press, described the legislative vote ahead of the signing as a āsignificant step forwardā that enables the team to continue exploring options to remain on the Missouri side of the state line.
Meanwhile, Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is eager to āput on a showā this season.
Speaking to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, he said: āWe got a lot of guys. We are deep in depth. Wide receiver group, weāre going to be explosive this year. Weāre just excited to put on a show, to be honest. We know itās gonna be a show. Only thing in the way right now is time, so weāre just waiting patiently.ā
Cincinnati Bengals
Good news, Bengals fans, it appears the impasse over Trey Hendricksonās future may be coming to an end.
ESPNās Jeremy Fowler reports the club and player have resumed communication on his contract and future with the team. All-Pro Hendrickson was the NFLās sack leader in 2024 and wants a new deal.
He is now in the last year of his current contract and has been vocal in his displeasure at not being offered a new one which meets his standards, sitting out OTAs and mandatory minicamp last week.
Meanwhile, CBS writer John Breech talks here about how Bengals first-round Draft pick Shemar Stewart can leverage his financial position thanks to his NIL money to put pressure on the front office regarding signing his rookie deal, which still isnāt done.

Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott hasnāt come close to one yet, but the Cowboys QB says he needs a Super Bowl win āfor my sanityā, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
And Prescott is focused solely on doing just that, as he aims to bring a Lombardi back to Dallas for the first time since 1996.
āI want to win a championship,ā Prescott said. āThe legacy, whatever comes after I finish playing, will take care of itself. I want to win a championship. Be damned if itās just for my legacy or if itās for this team. Itās for my personal being, for my sanity. The legacy will take care of itself.ā
Meanwhile, Micah Parsons āshould get every penny heās owedā according to Myles Garrett.
The Cleveland star says Dallasā Parsons should be treated with respect and hopes he gets the deal he deserves.
āI think he deserves whatever heās earned,ā Garrett told DLLS Sports writer Abby Jones. āI mean, the guy is special; I got the chance to train with him, Iāve seen his work ethic, Iāve seen how he attacks the weights, running. Heās 100% committed to his craft and getting better every day, and [heās] someone who produces on the field and has that dedication to the game. He should get every penny heās owed.ā
Green Bay Packers
Head Coach Matt LaFleur believes the Packers can mount a challenge this season ā but only if they continue the hard work theyāve already shown this off-season.
Finishing minicamp last week, LaFleur encouraged his team to ācontinue to workā before the start of training camp next month.
āI think weāre capable of being a really good football team ā a really good competitive football team,ā LaFleur said. āBut itās not just going to happen. Again, it goes back to the work and collectively we need everybody to be their best individually in order to be the best team we can be.ā
Buffalo Bills
Kevin Coleman has been a little unhappy looking back at the tape of his rookie season. The wide receiver says there is plenty to improve upon in 2025 and he can help the team improve by getting the basics right.
āYou want to know exactly what I see?ā he said. āWhen that s*** trash, you got to be better, simple as that. You gotta be more efficient here. You gotta get out of this break. You got to stack your DB. You got to give Josh more room to throw the ball. You gotta catch that. You gotta make that block. You got to get that extra effort on the touchdown block so if Jimbo [James Cook] breaks it, heās up the sideline.
āJust different things like that. Calling out everything that youāre doing wrong to make it right.ā
San Francisco 49ers
Trent Williams has no plans to retire anytime soon. The 36-year-old is looking to play for at least four more years and still be in the league at 40.
The left tackle, drafted back in 2010 by Washington, said: āI would love to play until Iām 40. I would love to make it to that special group,ā he told NBC Sports Bay Area.
āBut if itās just not in my cards, itās not in my cards. But Iām going to do everything physically possible. Iām going to stay engaged, as you see, my first time here doing OTAs or even being at the off-season program in probably 10 years.ā
